Image Compare is an iPhone and iPad app that lets you see exactly where and how much two photos differ — just pick two images. Compare them in five modes: Blend (semi-transparent overlay), A/B (instant toggle), Align, which automatically corrects shake and framing shifts using feature points, Diff, which highlights differences as a heatmap, and Wipe, which lets you drag a divider between them. If the two images match pixel for pixel, the app tells you they are identical. Images are processed on your device and never uploaded to a server.

How is this different from Similar Photo Search?
Similar Photo Search finds and tidies up similar photos across your library. Image Compare examines two photos you choose in detail to show where and how much they differ.
Where do I pick the two images from?
From the photo library of the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad. For iCloud Photos, the app may connect to Apple's iCloud to load the original images.
Can I compare photos taken from slightly different positions?
Yes. Align mode automatically corrects shift, rotation and scale, and can also correct perspective (keystone) distortion. If automatic alignment doesn't fit, adjust by hand with two fingers.
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. Images are processed on your device and never sent to our servers or any third party's. The free version uses the network to show ads.
Can I save or share the comparison?
Yes. You can capture the comparison screen as an image and save it or send it to other apps from the share sheet.
How much can I do for free?
Blend and A/B are free (with ads). Align, Diff and Wipe are paid features, and watching a video ad lets you use that mode once. A monthly or yearly plan or the all-features lifetime purchase unlocks every mode, and each feature can also be bought separately.
